Instructor Biography:
I am the coordinator for the Educational Leadership, Adult & Higher Education, and Career & Technical Programs for the West River Graduate Center in Rapid City. I also coordinate the EDAD program in Gillette, Wyoming. My responsibilities are to be the advisor to all the students, supervise all the Interns, teach the Capstone class in Rapid and Gillette, teach an on-line class, supervise and evaluate the faculty in Rapid and Gillette, do the recruiting for the Graduate Center, and be involved with various committees at the Brookings campus and in the Rapid City community. My education background spans over thirty-nine years. I have been a teacher from preschool to junior high, an elementary, middle, and junior high principal, a school superintendent, college professor, and an educational consultant. I have been married to my college sweetheart for thirty-nine years; have three sons, and two Siberian Huskies. For the past nine years, I have been a member of a Southern Gospel men’s quartet. We perform in a seven state regional area. Presently, we have four CDs out and in the process of working on our next. I am looking forward to working with all of you.
